New Chamber with Sun Simulation

The testing laboratory has expanded its portfolio of offered services. The testing facility has purchased a new climatic chamber with solar simulation from the weisstechnik® brand, with a capacity of 1,000 liters.

The SunEvent chamber features a temperature range down to -70°C with the capability of humidity control and regulation of solar radiation intensity from 400 to 1150 W/m². The chamber enables the execution of both indoor and outdoor simulated tests.

We evaluate:

• change in color shade – spectrophotometer
• change in shape – Nikon 3D measuring machine

• visual assessment – blistering, rusting, cracking, flaking, or chalking
