Corrosion and Environmental Resistance Testing

Our testing laboratory specializes in corrosion and climatic testing and offers both accredited and non-accredited services in this regard. We focus on accuracy and precision and use state-of-the-art equipment to deliver exceptional results that meet the highest industry standards. We meet IEC, ISO, GMW, ASTM, DIN, VW and other standards.

During or at the end of these tests we are able to evaluate:

  • Change of appearance and change of surface finishes, e.g. according to standards EN ISO 4628-1 to EN ISO 4628-6
  • Determination of the thickness of coatings and their possible loss – ČSN EN ISO 2808, ČSN EN ISO 2178

New 2,000-liter cyclic chamber

We have expanded our portfolio of the original three corrosion chambers, which focused on smaller and lighter samples, to include a new, larger chamber with a capacity of 2,000 liters. This high-volume chamber is suitable for testing large and heavy objects. As a result, we now cover a comprehensive range of samples of various sizes.

The laboratory now includes four different corrosion chambers:

CC450iP – cyclic corrosion chamber with a volume of 450 l
CC2000iP – cyclic corrosion chamber with a volume of 2,000 l
S450iS – neutral salt spray corrosion chamber (NSS test), volume 450 l

S450iS – acidified salt spray corrosion chamber (AASS or CASS tests), volume 450 l

According to the QUALICOAT standard, we now also perform tests on painted parts

  • Gloss measurement – ČSN EN ISO 2813
  • Grid test – ČSN ISO 2409
  • Hardness measurement (Buchholz) – ČSN ISO 2815
  • Elasticity measurement (Erichsen) – ČSN EN ISO 1520
  • Impact resistance measurement (ASTM D 2794) – ČSN EN ISO 6272
  • Measurement of bending resistance on the mandrel – ČSN EN ISO 1519

According to the customer’s requirements, we can check the sample under the microscope.

Customized test reports

In our test center, we prefer to work with our customers to ensure thorough documentation and accurate bug detection during testing. After agreeing on the conditions, we carry out photo documentation at regular intervals to accurately identify any changes or damage to the test samples.

Accredited and non-accredited test reports

Once the tests are completed, we provide comprehensive test reports in both Czech and your preferred language. These reports can be customized to either accredited or non-accredited standards depending on your specific requirements.
