We performed NDT tests on the gas storage tank

The testing laboratory has completed NDT testing of the gas holder in Třinec. Staff from the testing laboratory performed a defectoscopy inspection of the welds during the reconstruction of the shell of the gas holder, which has a diameter of 69,400 mm, with a total weight exceeding 700 metric tons and a volume of 50,000 m³, used for the homogenization and partial storage of captured converter gas from Třinecké železárny, a.s. During this reconstruction, over 5,000 m of welded joints were inspected using magnetic and ultrasonic methods.
